If Asha Bhosle and Govinda are not enticing enough for the hip-hop generation, several other desi shows are organized in the city around the Independence Day celebrations. Many new shows have been added to the party scene in Philadelphia, San Jose and other cities.
In New York, ‘Dil Cheez Hai India’, with Bally Sagoo and DJ Rekha is expected to be one of the hottest shows this month in New York and will be held at Club Ohm 16 West 22nd Street, just five minutes from the India Day Parade venue, on August 15 at 5 pm.
There will also be a model search for Bally Sagoo’s next music video.
Apart from Rekha (Basement Bhangra), there will be UK’s Glassy Junctions: The King of Reggae and Hip Hop: DJ King Neel.
